On Sunday, Warmensteinach was all about mountain biking: at the 7th SiLi Fichtelgebirge Mountain Bike Marathon, around 170 riders took to the “Grenzhammer” course. In perfect weather conditions, the challenging route led up to the Kreuzstein and through the picturesque landscape of the Fichtelgebirge.
As the event’s namesake and sponsor, we are delighted to have been part of this sporting highlight once again this year. The WSV Oberwarmensteinach once more organised the mountain bike marathon with great dedication, creating an event that draws attention to the Fichtelgebirge far beyond the region.
