Handling synthetic polymer microparticles in accordance with EU 2023/2055
Use
When handling and processing our products containing synthetic polymer microparticles, please observe the following guidelines to prevent release into the environment:
- Store the material exclusively in closed original containers.
- During processing, ensure that no particles are released into the environment (air, water, soil).
- Remove spilled material or loose particles immediately, e.g. by vacuuming (industrial vacuum cleaner) or using suitable binding agents. Disposal in waste water must be avoided at all costs.
- Ensure that the synthetic polymer microparticles in the end product are permanently bound in a solid matrix. It must be ensured that no release into the environment occurs during intended and proper use.
Disposal
Restmaterialien sowie Verpackungen, die Rückstände synthetischer Polymermikropartikel enthalten, sind durch einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsfachbetrieb gemäß den geltenden lokalen und nationalen Vorschriften zu entsorgen. Die Lagerung und der Transport dieser Abfälle müssen so erfolgen, dass eine Freisetzung in die Umwelt vollständig ausgeschlossen ist.
