Details
Applications: SiLiglit® Grade I
Vegan SiLiglit® Grade I polyester glitter is widely used due to its high brilliance, low specific weight and excellent resistance to water, solvents and UV radiation. It is used in:
- Cosmetics industry: Depending on the colour pigments used
- Sports and fashion items: Ideal for thermosets and PVC products.
- Hobby and craft industry: Used in glitter paints and decorative sprays.
- Industrial applications: Preferably in the paint and coatings industry and for floor and wall coatings.
- Textile and paper industry: Used in screen, flock, rotary and thermal printing for wallpaper, gift wrapping paper, etc.
- Car body construction: Used for GRP coatings on trikes and fairground rides, as well as polyester-based powder coatings for bicycle frames and furniture surfaces.
Applications: SiLiglit® Grade II
SiLiglit® Polyester Glitter Grade II offers excellent value for money and is particularly suitable for:
- Christmas decorations: Ideal for Christmas tree baubles, poinsettias, candles and other Christmas accessories.
- Textile applications: Use in screen, flock and rotary printing, whereby resistance to water and solvents should be tested prior to use.
- Decorations: Use as scatter items for shop windows, table and shop decorations.
- Floristry: Effect material for fresh and dried flowers.
