The R&D team has extensive and long-standing experience in the manufacture of high-quality technical beads from various materials (such as different types of glass and stabilised ZrO₂, ZrSiO₄, Si₃N₄, Y₂O₃ and WC). Production is based on our own processes and technologies using special machines, some of which are also developed and built in-house. All process steps up to the final inspection are continuously monitored and optimised for quality assurance.

The company employs highly qualified ceramic engineers, chemists and physicists with a wealth of experience in materials and process technology. In the ceramics sector, the entire process chain is covered, from powder preparation to shaping, sintering, finishing and quality control. For glass, existing production steps such as breaking, pressing, rounding, (precision) grinding and polishing, as well as various sorting techniques, can be adapted to new products and combined with newly developed process steps.

Special glass can also be formed into beads with the desired properties; if necessary, all process steps can be adapted for this purpose. The focus of the work to be carried out lies in the development of process engineering for the production of beads from the material to be developed.
