SiLibeads® Type ZS 4.1

Our SiLibeads® Type ZS 4.1 are sintered zirconium silicate ceramic beads with a particularly dense, homogeneous structure that significantly improves their wear resistance compared to conventional zirconium silicate beads.

Manufactured using a sintering process, SiLibeads® Type ZS 4.1 are characterised by a homogeneous structure and a smooth surface. These properties ensure improved resistance in all grinding systems and contribute to a longer service life for the beads.

Applications
  • Paint and coatings industry: Suitable for grinding and dispersing paint and coating systems in the medium viscosity range, especially water-based systems. Also used for colouring textiles and plastics and for grinding organic and inorganic pigments.
  • Plant protection: Used for dispersing fungicides, herbicides and insecticides.
  • Filler and coating industry: For the preparation of whitening agents (CaCO3) for paper production and for grinding coatings, for example for video and audio tapes.
  • Mining industry: Used for grinding minerals and precious metals.
