SiLi was founded in 1854 by Sigmund Lindner. Today, we are a family-owned company in its fifth generation and one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of technical glass and ceramic balls, effect glitter and ceramic components produced using additive manufacturing. More than 170 years of experience and our constant drive for innovation give us the confidence to guarantee our customers maximum benefits and the best quality in the future. Our highly specialised products are known under the names SiLibeads®, SiLiglit®, SiLiparts® and Bioglitter®. Product development and the continuous optimisation of complex production processes have always taken place at our company headquarters in Warmensteinach, Bavaria.

As a family-run company in Warmensteinach, Upper Franconia, we have stood for reliability, innovation and strong partnerships for generations. With around 120 dedicated employees, we offer secure jobs and inspire international customers worldwide with our many years of experience.

Regionally rooted – internationally active

Sigmund Lindner GmbH (SiLi) has two plants in Warmensteinach: its headquarters and a glitter production plant built in 2013. Both locations strengthen the company’s regional roots and innovative strength. SiLi also has an international presence through joint ventures.

Our strategy for a better world

With a tradition spanning more than 170 years, it is our declared goal to leave behind an environment worth living in for future generations.

Since July 2020, we have been using 100% renewable energy at our sites in Warmensteinach; special wastewater centrifuges treat our process water in such a way that we can largely avoid using valuable fresh water in the manufacture of our products.

We are proud to make an important contribution to greater sustainability and to promote a more conscious use of our planet’s finite resources with our future-proof products and services and their constant further development.
