Deco Bioglitter® SPARKLE represents a new generation of effect glitters that have been specially developed for technical and decorative applications – from printing and coating to arts and crafts and packaging design. The products offer an intense metallic sheen that is in no way inferior to conventional plastic glitter, yet are based on biodegradable materials and are 100% plastic-free. Deco Bioglitter® SPARKLE thus combines visual brilliance with ecological responsibility.

Sustainability and EU compliance
All products in the Deco Bioglitter® SPARKLE series are biodegradable, fully compliant with EU Regulation 2023/2055 and 100% plastic-free. Individual products are also water-stable – ideal for applications that require moisture or water-based systems.

Technical glitter with sustainable credentials
Deco Bioglitter® SPARKLE offers an intense metallic sheen that is visually indistinguishable from classic plastic glitter – but is based on biodegradable materials. The particles are specially designed for non-cosmetic applications and impress with their formulation stability in water, solvent, silicone and oil-based systems.
Certified eco-friendly
The products meet the requirements of the EU Microplastics Regulation and thus make an active contribution to reducing microplastics.
Responsible raw material base
The cellulose content comes from sustainably managed timber plantations, primarily eucalyptus, certified according to PEFC™ standards. The raw materials are sourced ethically and in a resource-efficient manner.

Deco Bioglitter® SPARKLE is ideal for a wide range of technical and decorative applications. These include:
- Printing processes (e.g. packaging, advertising materials)
- Coatings for surfaces with a glitter effect

Thanks to its formulation stability, SPARKLE is compatible with dry, water-based, solvent-based, silicone-based and oil-based systems. Not suitable for cosmetic applications such as make-up, body art or festivals.

What is Deco Bioglitter®
Possible uses for Deco Bioglitter® SPARKLE
Horticulture
Deco Bioglitter® is ideal for embellishing flowers and plants. It brings out their natural beauty – with minimal environmental impact. Can be applied by dipping, spraying or sprinkling.
Gift wrapping
Perfect for thermal printing, screen printing or glitter application. Bioglitter® gives gift wrapping paper a sparkling effect – for a special first impression.
Art materials
Fine particles for subtle effects, larger ones for strong accents. Can be used in children’s paints, gouache, acrylic, oil or glitter glue. Biodegradable – but please do not use carelessly in nature.
Coating & decoration
Suitable for decorative dip coatings, glitter coatings or as an effect in clear lacquers and dry sprays. For creative and shiny surfaces.
Textiles
Ideal for fabric printing with a glitter effect. Suitable for flatbed and rotary screen printing as well as glitter application. More environmentally friendly than conventional glitter, even when washed.
Greeting cards
Can be used in thermal printing, screen printing and glitter printing. Bioglitter® adds sparkle to cards – for a lasting impression on any occasion.
