GLITTER ALUMINUM FREE GLITTER REINVENTED
Cosmetic Bioglitter® PURE, originaly launched in 2019, was the worlds fi rst TÜV ‘OK Biodegradable WATER’ certifi ed glitter range. Which is considered the highest level of independent certifi cation for fresh water biodegradability in the world. Due to the physical properties and chemistry of the raw materials used in Bioglitter® it is not possible to re-create the structure of a traditional plastic iridescent glitter. Therefore, we have had to take a completely di erent approach. Our soft focus natural color range was our first offering in this novel type of glitter. ‘Opal’, a mother of pearl effect and ‘Vivid’, a strong metallic effect. ‘Opaque’ is a development, that shows a matt effect.
Aluminum Free – All Bioglitter® PURE products do not have a refl ective aluminum layer. This introduces a range of color effects unique to Bioglitter®. Being aluminum free, they do offer enhanced formulation compatibility and chemical resistance, particularly in high or low pH formulations, such as in liquid and solid soaps. With no aluminum content they are suitable for use on lips in the US.
