This year, donations were handed over to numerous regional associations, fire brigades and institutions in a cosy, pre-Christmas atmosphere. Over punch and cookies, representatives of the beneficiary organisations came together in person to receive the symbolic cheques, worth a total of around €21,000, and to share a special moment of togetherness.
The beneficiary associations and institutions were selected by the employee representative committee, which, with a keen sense of regional needs, chose those organisations that are passionately committed to supporting the next generation in our region – and thus our future. Whether in the field of sport, social welfare or safety, volunteers everywhere invest their time, energy and passion in children and young people.
In his speech, Managing Director Stefan Trassl expressed his heartfelt thanks to all those involved: ‘What you do is priceless. Your voluntary commitment gives young people prospects and cohesion – for this you deserve our deepest respect, our sincere appreciation and our thanks.’
